Now in its fourteenth year, the international festival Homage to the Art of Piano Art by Arturo Benedetti Michelangeli presents two concerts in Val di Pejo featuring world-class artists.

Goran Filipec pianist, with a repertoire based on works by Liszt, Donizetti, Auber
Early in his career Goran Filipec won first prizes in international piano competitions (José Iturbi International Music Competition in Los Angeles in 2009; Concurso de Parnassos in Monterrey in 2010; Gabala International Piano Competition in Azerbaijan in 2009; Franz Liszt International Piano Competition - “Mario Zanfi Prize” in Parma in 2011).
Filipec has performed internationally, playing at Carnegie Hall, Milan Auditorium, Mariinsky Theater, Béla Bartók National Concert Hall in Budapest, Philharmonie de Paris and other concert halls in Europe, North and South America and Japan.
He studied piano at the “Ino Mirkovich” Academy and received his doctorate in music from the Sorbonne University, then specialized at the Hochschüle für Musik in Cologne, the Oxana Yablonskaya Piano Institute, the Moscow State Conservatory “P.I.Tchaikovsky” and the Royal Conservatory of The Hague. His most important piano teachers were Naum Grubert, Oxana Yablonskaya and Natalia Trull.
He founded the Société Franz Liszt de Genève, a group dedicated to researching and promoting the music of Franz Liszt.

Eduard Kunz pianist, with a repertoire based on works by Mozart, Ravel and Mussorgsky
Named by BBC Music Magazine as one of the 10 greatest pianists of the aftermath, Eduard Kunz has performed with numerous orchestras, including the BBC Symphony Orchestra, BBC Concert Orchestra, BBC Scottish Symphony Orchestra, Royal Scottish National Orchestra, Hallé, Ulster Orchestra, City of Birmingham Symphony Orchestra, Welsh National Opera Orchestra, Royal Liverpool Philharmonic, and London Musici Orchestra, under the guidance of eminent conductors.
Eduard is the winner of 13 first prizes in various international piano competitions, including Grand Prix at the 18th George Enescu Competition in Bucharest and Gold Medal at the 22nd New Orleans Competition and the 8th Paderewski Competition.
Numerous other awards have been bestowed on him, such as the Silver Medal received from the Worshipful Company of Musicians in London, awards from the Hattori and Musical Foundation, Dame Myra Hess and the Yamaha Music Foundation of Europe, the Spivakov Foundation and he received the “Richter” award from the Rostropovich Foundation in Moscow. In the 2011 Tchaikovsky Competition he reached only the 2nd round.
Eduard was a BBC Radio 3 New Generation artist (2006-2008), and is currently an artist of the Moscow Philharmonic Society, a graduate of the Verbier Festival, and a Yamaha Artist.
In 2010 he appeared in the film “A Surprise in Texas” with excerpts from the 2009 Van Cliburn Competition.
Eduard Kunz since 2011 has been invited several times to play for "Serate Musicali" in Milan, making them, in the words of Hans Fazzari himself, "Serate - Pro Veritate" for his playing with soul, "more inside in the keys and in the heart" and already deemed a "legend."
