Val di Pejo is located within the Stelvio National Park at the foot of the Ortles-Cevedale Mountain range; it extends for about 15 kilometers in the north-western part of the Trentino Alto Adige region and, covering 160.5 sq km, it’s the largest municipality in the region. The valley borders with Val Camonica and Valtellina on the Lombardy side and with Val Martello in the South Tyrolean side; Val di Pejo is a branch of Val di Sole and so it also borders the villages of Vermiglio, Ossana, Pellizzano and Rabbi (on the Trentino side).
