A guided itinerary in the heart of Peio Paese, one of the highest villages in Trentino, offering an authentic immersion in the history and traditions of the Val di Peio.
Molìn dei Turi
In the center of the village, you’ll find the Molìn dei Turi, the only still-operating water mill in Peio. Owned by the Turri family for generations, the mill was partially destroyed by an avalanche in 1916 and later restored. Today, thanks to recent renovations, it’s possible to see the mill in action during guided tours, offering a glimpse into ancient milling techniques.
Museum of the White War – “Pejo 1914-1918: The War at the Door”
This unique museum is dedicated to the “White War,” the alpine front of World War I. Through objects, documents, and photographs, the museum tells the daily life of soldiers at the front and the local population during the conflict, providing a moving testimony of the region's history.
