From the tropics to the Park
Orchids belong to a group of plants rich in species (in fact, there are around 25,000) all classified in the Orchidaceae family. Although the name recalls exotic and tropical places, with the presence of forests and warm humid habitats, these plants also grow spontaneously in the mountains.
