Corde Rosa

CordeRosa is a tale of bonds, a performance by Elena Lo Muzio, Ancilla Oggioni, Francesca Arrigoni, and Nadir Giori. In reality, there are six stories, those of women who have experienced the mountain in all its forms. Why them? Because women have been forgotten in the history of mountaineering and often also in history. And the mountain because it is precisely when you walk a path or climb a wall that the bond - with yourself, with nature, with climbing partners - is evident, but also because the ascent to a peak, made of effort and commitment, is a metaphor for life that reminds us of how fundamental human connections are in our journey. In the six stories of CordeRosa, the lives of some mountaineering pioneers are intertwined with those of midwives who faced rugged trails in the mountains to deliver babies, and with those of the Portatrici delle Dolomiti, who transported supplies and ammunition to the front lines of the First World War, up to today, with the story of Nives Meroi and her magical relationship with the peaks. The six monologues, performed by Ancilla Oggioni, are intertwined with the songs performed by Aiòra - Francesca Arrigoni and Nadir Giori - a continuous interplay that produces a suggestive effect, capable of making the audience feel an integral part of the performance.

The performance will be conducted in Italian.
